As a district leader, I have consistently supported an environment where every student is valued — with choices among schools and programs, an education relevant to the future, and a safe, supportive place to learn.
My experience on the board as an ethical, fiscally responsible leader has strengthened my ability to help maintain the high quality of our schools. Students in the District are attending, graduating, and excelling in record numbers as they prepare for college and career.
With the financial support of our communities, the District has completed major improvements, including science labs, theaters, track & field venues, and gyms. Our teachers, support staff, and leadership personnel are among the best.
My work at the state level broadens my perspective and supports continuous improvement of our award‑winning schools. I serve on the policy-making body and am a past president of a statewide educational organization dedicated to governance standards for school board members.
As a long‑time resident, parent of District graduates, PTA leader, and community volunteer, I remain committed to ensuring that our schools deliver the exceptional education our community expects.
